Who We Are

  • A volunteer-run Community Interest Company (CIC)

  • Built by and for care-experienced people and caregivers

  • No salaries, no egos—just real connection and purpose

What We’ve Created

  • Not a service or a programme

  • A safe space where lived and worked care experience is not pitied or mistrusted

  • Where every story matters and no one needs to explain what 'care' means—we get it

What It Looks Like

  • Adults from all walks of life

  • Gathered in a safe space—sharing laughter, occasionally tears

  • Hearing truths often carried alone for years

What It Feels Like

  • Safety

  • Being seen

  • Belonging—where you don’t have to prove yourself

  • Vulnerability is accepted, not scrutinised

We Bring Together

  • Those who’ve lived through care and built a life beyond it

  • Those just starting their journey

  • Those who walk alongside—as allies, mentors, friends, caregivers

What We Offer

  • Free annual residential event—made possible by sponsors, donors and our paid events

  • Training, workshops, and talks led by care-experienced facilitators

  • Facilitators are paid fairly—fees help fund our not-for-profit work

  • Lively WhatsApp group and peer support throughout the year

What We Stand For

  • Respect, not pity

  • Real connection, not charity

  • Equal, authentic, mutually rewarding relationships

What We Believe

  • Care is not a single story—it’s a shared journey

  • Two truths can exist in the same place:

  • Care can bring both harm and healing, pain and love, struggle and strength

What We Know

  • This community lives beyond the event

  • We carry it in quiet messages, shared moments, and the way we show up for each other

  • Every life and every story deserves to be heard, honoured, and held—always
